Event and Donor Relations Manager
Rosella is a San Diego native and graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing. She joined Tri-City’s Marketing Department in 2012 and shortly after she transferred to the Human Resources Department where she worked on employee communications and events. During her time in that role she increased readership of the employee newsletter, Heart of Tri-City, by 20%.
In her present role, she serves as the Event and Donor Relations Manager for Tri-City Hospital Foundation and works on such Foundation events like Fashion That Heals and the Annual Diamond Ball Gala.
Rosella has over 10 years experience working for nonprofit organizations and has primarily concentrated her efforts in marketing, public relations, employee communications and event planning. For nearly a decade Rosella served as the Director of Communications for the Burn Institute and worked closely with the UCSD Burn Center to help raise funds for burn-injured children. She has planned such events as the annual Spirit of Courage Awards Banquet, Burn Run/Fire Expo and the San Diego County Firefighters Boot Drive. She also worked for Mental Health Systems as an Event Manager and served as an Internal Communications Manager for Sempra Energy.
Rosella is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and in her spare time she enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her “Italian” family. She resides in San Diego with her husband and daughter.
