Glen Newhart, a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), brings more than 25 years of experience to his role as President of Tri-City Hospital Foundation. In addition to building annual and capital giving program/fundraising programs for private educational organizations in the West and South, Newhart facilitated dramatic growth in healthcare fundraising-focused positions at hospitals in Montana and Arizona as well as with the American Heart Association in metro Atlanta.
In addition to his on-the-job experience, Newhart has been honored with a number of prestigious professional recognitions and accolades. He was named one of the Association of Fundraising Professional’ Outstanding Fundraising Professional” award winners in 2013 and received Outstanding Fundraising Performance Awards from both the American Heart Association and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Newhart acted as President elect of the Northern Arizona Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professional; President of the Blue Ridge Education Foundation, of which he is also a Founding Member; and the Blue Mountain Academy Alumni Association. He has served on advisory boards for organizations including Northland Pioneer College Foundation, CMN Hospitals Log a Load for Kids Program, the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ National Conference Education Committee, the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, and as a presenter for educational sessions hosted by the American Heart Association and Philanthropic Services for institutions.
