External Affairs Travels to FEMA

As we all know, preparation and training is often the key to success in emergency situations. Recently, two members of TCMC's External Affairs team, Aaron Byzak and Cassie Klapp, attended the four-day All Hazard Public Information Officer (PIO) training at FEMA's Center for Domestic Preparedness (CDP) in Anniston, Alabama.

The training, which includes expert lectures and intense simulations, provided an opportunity for the team to build upon lessons learned through the COVID-19 pandemic.
