Tri-City Psychiatric Health Facility

After years of preparation, the Tri-City Healthcare District (TCHD) broke ground on the new Tri-City Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF), a 16-bed adult, inpatient mental health treatment center. The ceremony welcomed dignitaries from the TCHD board, local community partners and representatives from the County of San Diego, TCHD's partner in the building's construction.
"This is a great moment in Tri-City's history," said Rocky Chavez, chairperson for TCHD's elected board of directors. "The Psychiatric Health Facility demonstrates our commitment to the health and wellness of the community we serve, including those needing mental health care."
